Thomas Fitness & Performance Athlete Scholarship

$4,000 Value

One Athlete. One Year. One Opportunity.

Every athlete's journey is different. Some seasons are filled with personal bests. Others are filled with setbacks that no young athlete expects to face. Thomas Fitness and Performance is giving one student-athlete a full year of sports performance training at no cost β€” because the hardest seasons don't have to define the rest of their career.

The Story

Why this scholarship exists

Injury. A tough season. A challenge that makes continuing feel harder than ever. At Thomas Fitness and Performance, we believe those moments reveal character β€” not weakness.

This scholarship is how we turn that belief into action. One athlete will get a full year of structured coaching, movement assessment, and progress tracking β€” so they can rebuild strength, speed, and confidence with a team behind them.

The Reality

Setbacks are part of sport. Stopping doesn't have to be.

A sprain that took six weeks. A season that ended early. A coach who moved on. A kid who was suddenly behind and didn't know how to catch up without getting hurt again.

The gym and the field are still there. But doing the right work β€” the kind that rebuilds strength, protects the injury, and builds confidence β€” is hard to do alone.

The missing piece wasn't effort. It was a coach who knew what they were coming back from.

The Outcome

What a year of real sports performance training looks like

Twelve months from now, the athlete isn't "trying to get back to where they were." They're stronger, faster, and more confident than before the setback.

They move better. They recover quicker. They know what their body needs. And when the next season starts, they walk in knowing they put in the work with a coach who tracked every step.

That's the whole thing. Not a before-and-after photo β€” a body that keeps up with the sport they love.

Why It's Hard

Why hard work alone isn't always enough

Effort without a plan is risky

An athlete can run harder, lift more, and push through pain β€” and end up right back where they started, or worse. A real plan builds them back from the ground up.

A generic workout can't see them

Online drills and team conditioning don't account for a prior injury, a weak link, or the movement pattern that caused the setback in the first place.

Nobody was tracking progress

Without tested benchmarks, the athlete doesn't know if they're actually stronger or just working harder. Coaching makes progress measurable.

Private training is out of reach

One-on-one performance coaching works, and it costs what it costs. This scholarship is how one athlete gets that level of coaching for a full year.

What They Win

What the winner actually gets

1

One full year of coached training

The selected athlete trains in our Iron Athlete sports performance program for a full year at no cost β€” a $4,000 value. Sessions are coached, structured, and scaled to the athlete's current ability and sport.

2

Assessment before the first session

We start with movement screening and performance testing so the program is built around what the athlete needs β€” including any injuries or limitations they are coming back from.

3

Progress that gets tracked

Coaches log strength, speed, and consistency so the athlete can see the difference between month one and month twelve, not just guess.

4

A team that believes in them

Turf, racks, dumbbells, and coaches who know their name. The room is full of athletes from around Farmington working toward the same thing.
